An educational planning tool, not an academic authority
Semester Clarity provides educational planning calculations and scenario estimates. It is not an official grade record, a degree audit, a determination of academic standing, a financial-aid or Satisfactory Academic Progress determination, a scholarship-eligibility decision, a transfer-credit evaluation, or a ruling on any school's policy. Nothing on this site is issued by, reviewed by, or binding on any educational institution.
Your school's rules govern, not this site's assumptions
Grading scales, GPA conventions, drop and retake policies, attendance rules, and credit requirements vary widely between schools, programs, and individual instructors. Semester Clarity does not maintain a database of institutional policy and does not claim to know your school's specific rules. Where an engine asks for a policy parameter, the result reflects the rule you entered, not a verified fact about your institution. Confirm any rule that matters against your syllabus, your registrar, your instructor, or your academic adviser before relying on it.
What this site will not generate
Semester Clarity does not solve homework problems, answer subject-matter questions, write, rewrite, or paraphrase essays, generate citations, produce flashcards or study answers, or create content intended to be submitted as a student's own academic work. Requests of that kind are outside this product's scope by design, not merely unimplemented.
A result is only as accurate as what you enter
Every calculation depends entirely on the scores, weights, credits, and assumptions you provide. An incomplete, mistyped, or outdated input will produce an inaccurate result even though the underlying math is correct. Where a value is uncertain, projected, or based on a stated assumption, the result is labeled as such; treat any unlabeled figure as based on the graded work entered, not a guarantee of a final outcome.
No school or organization endorsement
Semester Clarity is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of any school, college, university, or educational organization named or implied by a user's own inputs.
